The 2025 Maine Mural Festival
This year's festival was an absolute blast! I am very happy with the end results of this year's event and am proud to say it went together smoothly. It would not have been possible without all the artists, sponsors, food trucks and supporters of this event to whom I am extremely grateful.
We painted for 3 days straight, morning till night, (Friday August 15th through Sunday August 17th) and created artwork on 20,000 square feet of primed out wall. The 30 local and regional artists that attended this year were given full creative freedom and painted whatever they wanted. Among the photos below you will see an array of graffiti "pieces" (short for masterpieces) as well characters and various background elements that tie some of the pieces together in cohesive "productions" between artists.
A huge shout out to KOBRA spray paint for assisting in sponsoring the spray paint this year! The low pressure cans were easy to use and allowed everyone to create some incredible artwork over the course of this years Maine Mural Festival. I am very much looking forward to the next year's event and the role that KOBRA will play in it and it's vibrant art.
